Har Ki Pauri

Regarded as one of the most scared Ghats in Haridwar and India, Har-Ki-Pauri is visited by devotees and visitors in large number seeking the blessings of Holy Ganga by offering their prayers. It is the place where River Ganga flowing through the Himalayas touches the plain for the first time. This sacred Ghat is an enchanting sight to behold with a plethora of temples at the river bank and golden hues of floral diyas floating in the river.

Mansa Devi - Chandi Devi

The most treasured heritage of Haridwar, these two temples are visited by our grandmothers every summer even today.
Dedicated to the Hindu deities Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi, the temples are placed atop a hillock known as the Bilwa Parvat of the Shiwalik Range of the Himalayas. The Goddess is said to grant all wishes and the devotees make their wishes by tying a piece of thread on the branches of the tree located in the temple complex and come back to the temple to untie it after the wish is granted.

Sapt Rishi Ashram & Sapt Sarovar

According to legend, the seven sages, Kashyap, Vashist, Atri, Vishwamitra, Jamadagni, Bhardwaj and Gautam meditated here. The Ganga, not wanting to disturb them, split herself into seven streams (Sapt Sarovar) around them.

ShantiKunj Asharam

A prominent spiritual camp, the ashram is a tranquil site to behold. One comes here seeking truth and peace. Daily routine of Shantikunj reminds Vedic days in the ashrams of the Rishis. The day begins at 3:30 AM till resting by 9:00 PM.

Bharat Mata Mandir

Inaugurated by the late Prime Minister of India, Ms. Indira Gandhi, the temple is devoted to Bharat Mata. The Mother India temple has 8 floors and each story of the shrine is dedicated to different Hindu deities and freedom fighters of India.

About 10 Kms from Haridwar, this is a lesser known but wonderful Safari in the Rajaji National Park. A guide and safari driver will take you around the park where elephants, leapards and deers are a common sight.
